The leaders at Woodland West Church of Christ are men of wisdom and experience, and strive to lead according to God's plan.
Dal Jackson and his wife, Debra, were married in 1979 and have 1 daughter and 2 grandsons. Dal began serving as a shepherd in 2014 and currently works in the areas of Missions, Benevolence and Finance.
Dennis Thompson began serving as a shepherd at WWCOC in 1989. He and his wife, Becky, were married in 1969 and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Dennis has participated in mission trips to Ecuador and Ukraine, and serves in the Missions and Hearts & Hands ministries.
James Cochrum and his wife Mary Jo were married at Woodland West in 1983 and have attended here since that time. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. James joined the shepherd team in 2014 and works in the areas of Children's, Youth and Facilities ministries.
James Varney, a native of Liberia, came to the US in 1976 after working for the Liberian government. He married his wife, Tommie, in 1978 and together they have 3 sons and 3 grandsons. James has been a shepherd of the Youth, Facilities, and Finance ministries since 2002.
Morris Cochrum and his wife, Bonnie, married in 1958 and have 3 children 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Morris began serving as a shepherd in 1982 and currently works in the areas of Worship, Education and Missions.
Phil Pendergraft and his wife, Terri, married in 1981 and have 2 children and 1 granddaughter. Phil has been a shepherd since 2002 and currently works in the Education, Seniors and Family Life ministries. He travels periodically to Ecuador and Ukraine to work with churches there.
Terry Osburn and his wife, Sherry, were married in 1980 and have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Terry began serving as a shepherd in 2014 and currently works in the areas of Young Adults & Men's Ministry.
Tom Norwood and his wife, Leisha, were married in 1985 and have 3 sons. Tom began serving as a shepherd in 2014 and currently works in the areas of Men’s, Seniors, Young Adults and, Worship ministries.
Wayne Clark became a shepherd in 1996. He and his wife, Barbara, married in 1965 and have 3 children and 10 grandchildren. After working at Arlington Memorial Hospital for 35 years, Wayne retired in 2005. He is a shepherd of the Youth, Benevolence, Finance and Worship ministries.
