The outreach ministry is a group of people who are passionate about spreading God's love to those who live in our local community. The team is guided by Scott Snow who ensures that we are fulfilling our purpose to love our neighbors.
Reaching Our Community
Woodland West Church of Christ loves serving our local community. We believe that a large part of our purpose is to represent Jesus to those who live in areas surrounding our congregation. We continually host events open to the community such as trunk or treat, ladies day, national night out, and various seminars.
We have several ministries designed specifically for local outreach efforts. Hearts & Hands helping the needy, English classes through FriendSpeak, children's events, family gatherings, and more.
On Sunday's we gather for worship services, Bible classes, and small group meetings. This is a blessed opportunity for members and visitors to come together for a time of praising God, encouraging each other, and building relationships. Like the majority of ministries, events, and programs, Sunday services are open to all. Come join us!
FriendSpeak Ministry
FriendSpeak is a public program that provides people with the ability to learn to read and speak conversational English. Native English speakers are matched with those from other cultures who want to improve their English skills. Together the FriendSpeak staff and student establish friendships while learning English through word of God.
