Dennis Thompson
Dennis Thompson began serving as a shepherd at WWCOC in 1989. He and his wife, Becky, were married in 1969 and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Dennis has participated in mission trips to Ecuador and Ukraine, and serves in Missions and Family Life ministries.
James Varney
James Varney, a native of Liberia, came to the US in 1976 after working for the Liberian government. He married his wife, Tommie, in 1978 and together they have 3 sons and 1 grandson. James has been a shepherd of the Youth, Administration, and Finance ministries since 2002.
Ken Smithson
Ken Smithson and his wife, Joyce, were married in 1960 and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Ken has been a shepherd of the Education, Administration, Hearts & Hands, and Family Life ministries since 1996. He also serves as our Hearts & Hands Minister.
Morris Cochrum
Morris Cochrum and his wife, Bonnie, married in 1958 and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Morris began serving as a shepherd in 1982 and currently works in the areas of Worship and Missions. He travels frequently to Ukraine and Ecuador to work with churches there.
Phil Pendergraft
Phil Pendergraft and his wife, Terri, married in 1981 and have 2 children and 1 granddaughter. Phil has been a shepherd of the Missions, Education, and Children's ministries since 2002. He travels periodically to Ecuador and Ukraine to work with churches there.
Wayne Clark
Wayne Clark became a shepherd in 1996. He and his wife, Barbara, married in 1965 and have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. After working at Arlington Memorial Hospital for 35 years, Wayne retired in 2005. He is a shepherd of the Youth, Administration, Finance and Worship ministries.
